Since our inception in  1965 as a franchise of a renowned national staffing company, dmDickason Personnel Services has stood as the quintessential “full-service” recruiting, staffing and placement company in the Southwest United States.  Over the decades, our locally owned and operated establishment has epitomized executive recruitment, staffing and placement services, leaving an indelible mark on the great Southwest, the US Mexican Border Region and the country.

From the start, dmDickason has been an emblem of quality under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer, Don Dickason, the driving force behind the “d” in dmDickason.  Don’s journey began in 1974  as an Executive Recruiter; swiftly propelling him to one of the youngest and most successful Branch Managers within the 500 national office system.  By 1984, he assumed ownership of the local franchise consisting of 5 offices, and in 2000, along with his wife and partner, Martha, changed the name of the national company and rebranded the company as dmDickason Personnel Services.  Don is double certified in Labor Law.

Martha Olguin-Dickason, symbolized by the “m” in dmDickason, unveiled dmDickason Temporaries in 1992 to cater to Don’s corporate clients seeking exceptional  recruiting and staffing solutions.  As President, Founder and majority stock holder, Martha’s nationally recognized  leadership propelled our company to become Minority/Woman-Owned, a H.U.B. certified entity and one of the largest Hispanic-Owned Companies in America.  Martha is personally known nationally for her innovative expertise and industry influence, as well as her training and renowned employment law expertise.  Martha is certified in Labor Law.  Both Don and Martha are alumni of New Mexico State University.

In 2002, dmDickason embraced another transformative milestone by establishing dmDickasonHR, the Employee Leasing (PEO, ASO and Payroll Provider) Division, catapulting its reach to a national scale as a comprehensive human resource and PEO / ASO and co-employment outsourcing powerhouse.  Kelly Dickason, with a double degree in Economics and Business from Southern Methodist University (SMU) also joined the company and later became our current Director of HR.

Operating from its 14,000 square foot headquarters building in West El Paso, dmDickason continued to harmonize comprehensive human resources tailored specifically to diverse and unique companies’ needs.  Now, specializing only in employee leasing (PEO/ASO), dmDickasonHR offers a complete suite of services, including full-service HR, Labor Law compliance, payroll and payroll tax, employee benefits management, unemployment claims processing and safety/risk management (including OSHA compliance).
